'Future Boy' Story Code '66417' by Tommy Thompson

6th October 1957: Sam arrives in the cockpit of a kitsch spaceship and discovers that he is now Future Boy – otherwise known as Kenny Sharpe, a young actor playing the sidekick to Captain Galaxy in a popular kids’ TV show. Al informs Sam that his latest task is to prevent the show’s star, former classic actor Moe Stein, from being committed to a mental institution by his daughter, Irene; it seems that Moe is somewhat eccentric, and is completely obsessed with building a time machine in his basement. Sam finds this particular mission strikes particularly close to home, as Moe’s device works on a theory of time-travel that is extremely similar to his own ideas of quantum-leaping…
